Spurlin Photography was founded in St. Louis, Mo during the late 1980’s. Blake Spurlin, the company owner, relocated to Florida in 1991 and immediately became an active participant in Florida community activities receiving such awards as the Fine Photography Appreciation Award from the University of Miami, Department of Pediatrics in 2004 and the 5 Year Community Service Award from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in 2004. He has also received over 20 awards from the Professional Photographers of America which included 1st. place at the Monte Zucker Convention, in St. Louis in 1987. Spurlin Photography holds memberships in the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, the Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce, as a Trustee, and the Better Business Bureau. Blake has also been the Official Photographer for the Fort Lauderdale Executive Retreat in Munich, Germany – October 2001, the Florida Trade Delegation in London, England – July 2002, both sponsored by DMNI. The mainstay of Spurlin Photography is Corporate Events and Wedding Photography. The company has also taken more than 6 thousand portraits. For over two years now we have be been using the very latest in Digital Photography equipment not to mention the ability to perform 360 revolving images in any situation. The high quality and low stress efficient style makes Spurlin Photography one of the most respected names in Photography. We are located at 1642 E. Atlantic Blvd. in Pompano Beach, Florida, the heart of Florida’s Gold Coast.
